The Ocean Awareness Club at UCSD is dedicated to the protection of
waves, beaches and the marine environment through education,
involvement and preservation.

issues raised by the often conflicting needs of pre-industrial,
industrial, and post-industrial societies.
The ESYS Program recognizes the growing demand for environmental
specialists and is designed to prepare undergraduates for a variety of
environmental careers or graduate programs in the natural sciences, the
social sciences, public policy, law, or business.
The mission of the Center for Energy Research (CER) at the University
of California, San Diego (UCSD) is to foster research and educational
activities devoted to critical energy needs.
The Scripps Institution of Oceanography is one of the oldest, largest,
and most important centers for marine science research, graduate
training, and public service in the world.
This Administrative Unit oversees most all of the campuses operations,
such as transportation services, purchasing, technological development
and safety issues.
This division of Facilities works to serve the transportation needs of
the campus by planning and operating parking facilities and alternative
transportation projects.
Oversees the planning, design and construction of new campus projects,
as well as providing various operational services and guiding the
overall development of the campus.
UCSD is currently in the process of creating a revised LRDP that will
be completed next year and will guide the campuses development over the
